About
I'm a backend engineer with a focus on Java and distributed systems. Most of my professional work lives somewhere between service design, APIs, and the infrastructure layer — the parts of a system that you don't notice until they go wrong.
Outside of work I build personal projects, mostly as a way to work on things I find interesting or to learn something I can't easily justify on a work ticket.
This site is where I write about both — the professional and the experimental, the well-reasoned decisions and the ones that seemed fine at the time.
